It's not every day I get to premiere a debut single by an artist who has already had success with another band. Especially when they won't tell me who they are. Who is nvdes? And what's the other band? Frustratingly, I'm not sure. All I've been told is that they've been on Indie Shuffle more than five times, which leaves me having to guess based on the vocals. My first guess? It sounds a bit like Empire Of The Sun's Luke Steele. But that's unlikely given that whoever has been corresponding with me seems to live on an American timezone. That leaves acts like Walla, RÜFÜS (are they in America now?), Foster The People (certainly not Mark) and Sir Sly (the original "mystery" band). Consider me stumped. What's your guess?
