I love the days where I discover a new artist that I really like, only to find out that they’re coming to my city really soon. I found UK dubstep artist Phaeleh (pronounced “Fella”) while browsing SoundCloud the other day, and coincidently noticed that he will be stopping through Denver in the next couple months. Needless to say, I’m pretty excited to see his live performance.
“Afterglow” is an ambient dubstep track featuring the beautiful vocal talents of Soundmouse. I can’t get enough of this one — it’s soft, ethereal, unique, and dance-friendly all at once. I’m always a sucker for a dreamy female vocal, so Soundmouse really serves as the icing on the cake with this release.
