What's so good?

As far as I’m concerned, there are two labels running the scene right now, and MadTech Records is one of them. I’m probably starting to sound like a broken record, but you needn’t look any further than MT or Black Butter for the hottest emerging artists.

In consistant chain of good choices, MadTech added 18-year-old UK producer Polkadot, aka Sam Bevan, to the list. He’s been rising on the scene for some time, nurturing an ever-growing fan base and a sound that’s perfectly fit for the label.

His first MadTech release ,”Wasn’t Like That,” revives classic R&B with feel-good house, soft synths and bouncy vibes. Pharrell William’s should be thanking Polkadot for this one. Those infectious vocals were snipped from Snoop Dogg (back when he was still a Dogg) and Pharell’s “That Girl,” which, comparatively, suddenly lacks luster.

“Wasn’t Like That” is available for download via MadTech. Nab it and enjoy!
