Things have been all quiet on the Beastie Boys front since the tragic passing of Adam Yauch last year, but today a little remix has popped up on the Interwebs. Legendary MC Mike D has taken Portugal. The Man's "Modern Jesus" and ramped up the drums, transforming the tune into a techno meets trap mashup that's sure to get you head nodding.The film clip accompanying "Modern Jesus" is also fantastic, with John Gourley of Portugal. The Man drawing over a picture of Mike D in the bands famous scrawl -- watch it here.While I would have loved a verse from Mike D or fellow Beastie Boy Ad-Rock, this remix certainly gets the blood pumping.
