Raye

All eyes are on 17-year-old Raye, who garnered a whirlwind of critical acclaim in 2014 for her debut EP Welcome To The Winter, and since then has had a steadily growing fanbase. October saw her unveil her new single ("Tell Me") and announce a debut headline show in November (still entertaining the idea of going -- flights to London from Berlin aren't too expensive!). Boasting production by Blood Diamonds, lyrically "Tell Me" falls under the category of reciprocated love -- an undeniably relatable theme for a 17-year-old. Speaking more on the track Raye has said, "This song is truthfully about an old relationship I was in...it was so perfect and the song, to me -- reflects exactly how beautiful it was." The warm, subtle take on electronic-infused R&B is one that instantly captivates the listener, Raye's mature vocal and the complementary production working in tandem to create an extremely palatable blend of sounds. I also posted about Chris Loco's "Ego" earlier this month, which she does a stellar vocal feature on. Another track which is definitely worth checking out.
