While today’s Song of the Day is a bit more mellow, this track is quite the opposite. Neon Stereo has “refixed” Thin White Duke’s remix of Röyksopp’s “What Else Is There?” to create an epic electronic dance track that is thoroughly worthy of a ball drop (that’s right: it’s a remix of a remix, and a mouthful at that).
The original version of “What Else Is There?” came as the third single of the Norwegian duos second album The Understanding, and features the vocals of Karin Dreijer Andersson, who you might recognized from The Knife. Here’s hoping this one helps ring in your New Year!
