What's so good?

Have you heard of SSION yet? If not, you're in for some sexy avantpop. This Kansas City/New York project is pretty much fearless in their approach to a mix of 80s and 90s romanticized, obscured synth pop.

As abstract as SSION may appear, their music still encapsulates an unavoidably infectious dance vibe. Their newest album, Bent, is a perfect example. Just take one of their lyrics: "Doing poppers on a treadmill/God damn, I love LA." This album is not for the chill at heart. It's high energy, quick beats and fast paced; perfect for a party-filled weekend involving all night benders.

Bent, is out today and ready to blast through your speakers. They're also kicking off their U.S. tour, so grab a ticket if you feel the need to attend an 80s disco pop extravaganza.
