Another day at SXSW! This one’s looking to be quite scorcher, so for those of you stuck in cold regions — sucks to be you. Anyway, here’s what I’ve got planned out…
Hipstamatic The Morning After Brunch
Free brunch is always a great way to start the day, especially when Capital Cities are playing in the background. Will absolutely be swinging by Hipstamatic’s The Morning After series.
Hypem Hotel
This is the showcase not to miss: YVYNYL and I Guess I’m Floating present a myriad of awesome bands, including S O H N, Sir Sly, St Lucia CHVRCHES and Flume. Seriously, this is such a killer lineup. Can’t miss it!
Pitchfork Official Showcase
This is an all-day endeavor, including some massive hitters like Rhye, Disclosure, Toro Y Moi, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, etc. Best part: totally free.
Ghostly Intl Showcase
This one promises to be pretty chill, with Dauwd, Lusine and Baths included in the mix. Should be nice.
The Warner Sound Showcase
Probably the best lineup of the night, they’ve got Alt-J, The Flaming Lips, Atlas Genius and Surfer Blood.
