What's so good?
By Philip Friedman | Feb 14, 2014 | Total plays: 1,354

Oh, The City and Horses.  Your sense of humor can make anything bearable.  Even Valentine's Day.

Finding the place where bossa nova grooves intersect with indie pop (and adding a healthy splash of the woodwind family) is something that could only be done by a band who doesn't take themselves too seriously, and that's exactly what's going on in The City and Horses' new single, "Pretty Pretty."

While not your conventional Valentine's love song, we do get a pretty awesome grocery list of what frontman Marc Cantone might be looking for in a significant other.  To me, it sounds like he might just be looking for a female slacker version of himself, but I wouldn't know because I don't have any books overdue at the library.

You can also go check out the accompanying video featuring a bare-footed Marc strumming away on the ukulele below.  It's kind of like your own personal one-on-one date,  that is if you don't already have one.
