The Kite String Tangle X Dustin Tebbutt

Two of Australia's rising stars recently collaborated to create an enthralling and gorgeous single. Danny Harley, the mastermind behind The Kite String Tangle, and singer/songwriter/producer Dustin Tebbutt bonded over their mutual admiration for each others' artistry. “We went into the collab with no expectations at all,” Tebbutt has said. “[Harley] had this great bed of synths and ambience sussed out, and from there; the vocal parts just seemed to flow. Danny was so easy to work with, and I felt like we naturally met halfway creatively throughout the process.” In April they released “Illuminate” to the world. A limited edition 10” vinyl EP, carrying two exclusive covers was released on June 5. TKSTXDT also have a select number of co-headlined shows down under that unsurprisingly appear to be sold out. “Illuminate” is beyond beautiful. It sounds like a prayer. Radiant and lovely in every way, this song is washed in tenderness. It is an intangible gem: shiny, sparkling, rare, and precious. It’s a warm whisper you want to keep locked in your heart.
