So it’s been a good four years since L.A.’s The Little Ones released their debut album, and I was pretty worried that I wasn’t going to hear from them again. Well wasn’t I pleasantly surprised to see the news of a new album plus a new song!
The first track, “Argonauts,” is as every bit joyful and youthful as their earlier work. From the get-go, the bouncy rhythm and the chopped up vocals had me hooked. I know they’ve been out of the game for awhile, but boy are they sounding fresh.
Looks like they’re well and truly prepped to get back in the thick of things with this new found confidence on display.
It’s a while away, but the new album is due for release on February 12, 2013 – fingers crossed we get some more delicious samples before then.
