What's so good?

Vancouver’s The Zolas are doing some awesome stuff in the indie rock world. I just received their live video for “Escape Artist,” and I enjoyed it so much that I’d like to share it with all y’all Shufflers.

This stripped down version of this single is simple and sweet, yet thought-provoking. With just a piano, a small synth and harmonies galore, there’s still a lot to be appreciated with The Zolas live performance of “Escape Artist.” If you listen to the lyrics, they very much represent the struggle that I think most of us go through with maintaining a balance between your own angels and demons.

This truly poetic song is the kind that will get stuck in your head… and for a good reason. The Zolas have the ability to produce intelligent music while still maintaining a sound that can and will appeal to the masses.
