The epitome of fun times rhymes, J5 was perfect for chillin or partyin too, a great soundtrack for life. Very few hip hop groups are capable of creating such cohesion amongst such distinctly different MCs, but J5 did it, and they did it damn well.
J5 is feel good hip at its best – simple beats and fun rhymes – remiscenent of some of the roots hip hop that made us love this genre in the first EP. – Brenden Sloan
