Windmills is a one-man band (that, thanks to looping, sounds much bigger) from BC. He made a big splash last year with his first single "Face to a Name," but we haven't heard much since then.
Apparently a new album is on the way, and a tour around Canada is happening now. "Maps," premiering here on Indie Shuffle, is a suitable follow-up track that reminds me of vintage northwest summer adventures, with a little reflective melancholy thrown in for good measure, a fresh sound both epic and intimate.
