So this is a new post about an old release. Chances are you’ve never heard of Yayayi. His Soundcloud page has nothing posted, and yet he has almost 800 followers. There’s some gibberish on the page description, but that’s about it.
What most people won’t realize is that Yayayi released a single called “333%” back in 2010, before taking it down a few weeks later. Its special blend of jazz, funk, dubstep, and soul house quickly captured the attention of many, and with good reason. It’s a shame it’s no longer publicly available, because a track that good should be shared with everyone.
We don’t know who Yayayi is, why he removed the track, and when he’ll post new material again (if ever). But one thing’s for sure – if that day comes, we’ll be in luck.
