Another Adele remix?! Perhaps like you, the initial reaction I had was to roll my eyes when I received this (no pun intended). That was, of course, until I hit play and my eardrums exploded. You can click here to download it.
It's amazing what an artist can do with a vocal stem. With MartyParty and Minnesota teaming up to tackle this track, the result is a version unlike any I've heard before. The bass drop literally forces my fingers to lift from the keyboard and spasm, somewhat like those kids at dubstep concerts who completely lose control of their bodies.
The remix is being released in anticipation of the May 31st release of MartyParty's Purple LP, a 13-track follow-up to his February Blueberry Kush EP. Half of the successful duo PANTyRAiD (co-produced by Ooah of The Glitch Mob), MartyParty's signature dubstep-esque sound has been selling out shows everywhere he goes. Adding to his awesomeness is the fact that he's a fellow South African.
