Since you're on Indie Shuffle, you probably already know who Alt-J is... because we've posted almost every song they ever made and more on here. So I'll spare ya an introduction of the band's info.
Alt-J or ∆ just came and conquered two sold-out shows at the Fox Oakland Theater last weekend, and yours truly was there to witness both nights. As if their stunning debut album, An Awesome Wave, wasn't good enough for you, these dudes are also straight legit performers.
You want to know how dope this band really is? Try starting off by playing "Rack City" by Tyga as your intro to get the crowd in a funky frenzy. Throughout each night, the harmonizing blokes kept the crowd attentive and energetic, yet dazed from beginning to end. From a smoky episode of "Tessellate" to a full crowd sing-a-long of "Matilda," Alt-J rocked The Fox and gave us one of the best live performances of the year.
Let these words be a warning to not miss Alt-J the next time they play in a city near you.
