AlunaGeorge

AlunaGeogre is a darling of the popular UK music world.  With thoughtful words, vocals, and melodic beats, the duo's first LP was easily and eagerly received, with remixes not far behind.  As we are now a ways away from their first release, it's refreshing to hear a new take on a track. Wilfred Giroux gives "Diver" the dance kick that it did not necessarily need, but absolutely accepts well.  Kick drums and a UK garage beat shift the feel of this tune away from the smooth and serious tone of the original.  Layered, cloudy vocals and cascading synths bring the remix together quite beautifully.
