While I must admit that I haven't been too heavy on the Nicolas Jaar train as of late, there's definitely a part of my historical listening that I have carved aside for him.Naturally that meant that when Ameli Paul & JPattersson's "Iama" crossed my path, it brought back some pretty fond memories. While their sound definitely isn't exactly the same as Nico's, it follows a similar approach, and in doing so almost sounds like a new song by the artist. This song came about when Ameli Paul and JPattersson were both on tour in Mexico City. The song is actually named after a cat that hung out with them in the studio while the pulled this one together. Nifty.
