Earlier today, Angel Haze leaked the cover artwork to her January release, Dirty Gold, and now it seems someone has taken things a step further with unreleased track "A Tribe Called Red" appearing online today. Haze has claimed she had nothing to do with it, going as far as to say the song isn't even finished yet, but that doesn't make it any less enjoyable. It's also interesting that even though she claims this isn't the finished version, Haze has still happily posted the track on her SoundCloud page.
"A Tribe Called Red" is Haze at her fiery best, spitting uplifting rhymes over an aggressive beat. Opening with Haze discussing her race and its relation to her music, she uses the song to certify her position as one of hip hops most ambitious and consistent performers.
Azealia Banks, take note.
