It's not every day that female-fronted electro-pop tracks manage to win me over. That's mostly because the genre has been hammered to death, and at this point practically nothing in it stands out as unique or interesting. So, how did Anna of the North manage to win me over with "Lovers"? I dunno. Good melody? Excellent production? Nice singing? Pretty much all of the above? Yep. It's not a cutting-edge or new song; it just sounds good to my ears. I don't need much more than that.
