Why do we like this?
It's hard to write about a track like "Vapor" because less than two minutes in, and I'm already orbiting Saturn with no idea of how to do anything except float and bask in the journey.
Kudos to Atlanta producer Atlas for granting me passage on such a strange, absorbing trip. As Atlas told me via email, "Vapor" is meant to have a 2001: A Space Odyssey vibe. That it does, while also showing off some of that ATL beat head mentality that can be found shining through on Atlas's debut album Ley Lines of Consciousness.
