Autolaser (producer out of Oslo, Norway) offers up this cover of The Knife's "Heartbeats".
Blissed out, sun drenched, and highly addictive to sing along to, Autolaser's version features vocalist Ester Adele, whose style kind of has a Halsey feel.
Classic in its original form, made famous by its many beautiful adaptions (particularly this one by Jose Gonzalez) "Heartbeats" has stood the test of time and feels just as fresh as the first day I first heard it.
Always loved how this song had dark undertones but such a hopeful vibe. Like a tale of of love and lust that lasted only as long as the lights danced and the music (and drugs) held them.
At any rate, "Heartbeats" always reminds me of good times, soul shifting moments, warm nights and friends. Autolaser's version is no exception.
