Azealia Banks. You either love her or you hate her. I'll admit to erring on the side of hate after her disastrous Splendour In The Grass performance back in 2012, but since the release of her criminally underrated debut, Broke With Expensive Taste, the New Yorker has slowly but surely won me over.
"Used To Being Alone" is Banks' latest effort and once again sure to divide music lovers. Gone are the fiery raps we've come to expect, instead replaced with Banks singing over a pulsating electronic production. Yes, Banks has gone dance and it works, in a strange kinda way.
Whether this is a one off or a hint at things to come, she's definitely got my attention, which is all Banks ever seems to want.
