Why do we like this?

I am truly feeling this flavorful track courtesy of Afropolitans Blitz The Ambassador and Nnneka.

What is an Afropolitan, you ask? To boil it down: a member of the diaspora who reconciles notions of heritage via music and art. Blitz is a Ghanaian-New-Yorker lyricist and producer with a knack for visual art while Nneka is a Nigerian/German soul songstress and anthropologist.

"Love On The Run" is the latest single off Afropolitan Dreams, due for release on April 28. 

Ghana and Nigeria collide beautifully on this trumpet-laced track, with gritty verses from Blitz and mesmerizing vocals from Nneka. All this iced over a classic hip-hop production with twists of Afro beat melodies and luscious guitar riffs.
