Why do we like this?
British producer Bodhi will be releasing a new EP off of -- you guessed it -- Future Classic on October 7. "Imperfection" sets expectations high. There is a sophistication that backbones this track, and it surges in and out, somewhat insidiously.
Something about this song proves deviously addictive; I'm never totally satisfied, but I do want more, more, more. It's sexy without being overt, and I've got a serious appreciation for songs that can maintain that balance. Equally impressive is the nu-disco side of this song that is tempered by a downtempo, more indie-electronica sensibility. Listen, and see what you think.
He'll be touring around the UK with Bondax, and I'm sure we'll be hearing a lot more buzz about Bodhi in the future.
