Why do we like this?

With this Indie Shuffle premiere today comes some exciting news: Sweden's Cajsa Siik has a new double A side single coming out soon. This track, "State of Low," is the first track from this double release.

Cajsa caught lots of ears last year with her debut album Contra, and one of the singles from it got some Indie Shuffle love. It's great to see Cajsa is backing up her good work with more releases in early 2015, and with ones that showcase her vocal depth and talent.

Talent is right. Cajsa's vocals in "State Of Low" are certainly angelic and tender. But what I think elevates this track above other majestic synth-pop songs out there is that it comes perfectly supported instrumentally by snippets from a cello and a piano for added depth and charm.

"State of Low" will be released tomorrow while the second track from this double release, called "Change Of Heart," is coming next month. Casja Siik's Facebook page has all the details.
