We've posted a couple Talabot and Pional collaborations on the site before but never have we posted one where they've worked their magic on another artists track. Well, the day has come, my electro-loving friends!
Taken from Chairlift's sophomore album Something, this rework of "I Belong In Your Arms" fuses many musical influences with Spanish dance productions, glimmering tropical beats, grimy electronics and a chopped 'n screwed vocal arrangements. This new look has Talabot and Pional written all over it, with subtle whisps of house frequencies and fizzy soundscapes procured in audibly pleasing dreamlike sequences.
The remix is part of a 12" out October 29 via Young Turks, which also features remix contributions from the Field, Martyn, Photek, and Dan Carey.
