Charli XCX's "Break The Rules" was a pretty big jam this summer. It was big, bouncy, and had a huge hook that allowed the young and fun to raise their hands in the air and wave them around like they just don't care.
But it's no longer summer. In some parts of the world, it's quite cold and dreary. The seasons have changed, leaves have fallen, and moods have turned around.
That is what New Zealand's Broods have intended to do with their remix of Charli XCX's "Break The Rules." Almost industrial, the duo slathered darker layers of dizzying effects and percussion over the track. It's become a much colder more steel-like version in comparison to the original.
It’s just out right in time for Halloween and the new fall season.
