The rising electronic act, DROELOE, known for his futuristic electronic sound, is currently capitalizing on the perfect pop vocals delivered by Charlie Puth and Selena Gomez in his remix of their recent pop hit, “We Don’t Talk Anymore.”
The original’s sultry singing and an easily approachable downtempo house flavor quickly caught many an ear, allowing it to gain much momentum in the pop charts. DROELOE takes this likable tune and throws some nuance into the mix, sprucing up its basic sound with revamped percussion and some subtle synth stylings. The dude even takes the liberty of tossing trumpets and vocal chops into the mix to create additional accents.
Puth recently put the tune out alongside five other takes on the track, but DROELOE definitely does the best job capturing that futuristic flair my ears so enjoy. However, if you’re looking to check out some other versions, I recommend the reimaginings by Lash and Hazey Eyes as well. Enjoy!
