Why do we like this?
Chet Faker just unleashed the second single off his debut album Built On Glass, and I must say I'm quite enjoying the sound of it.
The album is of course already available (here), but if you're more of a singles-listener like I am, I have a feeling this one could take you for a pleasant surprise.
Why, you ask? Well, it appears as if Flume's house vibes might be rubbing off on Chet. "1998" has a distinctly more electronic sound than much of the Aussie artist's previous work, a more-than-welcome approach in my mind.
