Why do we like this?

London via Melbourne wonder Chiara Hunter is kicking off 2016 in a big way with latest singe "Hammer." 

Taken from her debut project, Strange Relationships EP, "Hammer" is a glorious dose of modern pop with throwbacks to 90s R&B. Hunter's vocal range is on show over the dance-pop melodies, with Hunter explaining the song is about meeting someone you hit it off with instantaneously and just want to get crazy with.

Personally, Hunter reminds me of in form Janet Jackson on this one, with "Hammer" ticking all the boxes required for a hit song. 

Strange Relationships EP is set for a February 12 release.
