CHVRCHES

CHRCHES set fire to their chrome spine with "Roses," a track watered by fiery slow-burn anger. "Roses" is a slow burn, an almost literal burn, a track that wears its message not on its sleeve but as a metal helm, as it crashes through the walls of the buildings it's set alight. The track snatches and bangs across itself with zappy guitars and booming choral vocals, affecting cutaways. It's so immaculately chaotic that I didn't even notice the track looping on itself, it was all just beautiful chaos in a swirling warm fire. "Roses" has magma thorns and melts away your mind with its great sound and design.
