Why do we like this?

Rising Australian songwriter Jack River has delivered a must hear cover of cult band Cigarettes After Sex's "Nothing's Gonna Hurt You Baby." 

Coming off the heels of her highly infectious single, "Talk Like That," River has taken "Nothing's Gonna Hurt You Baby" and injected it with her own personality.

The familiar guitar riff is more noticeable, while River's husky vocals have an air of Lana Del Rey about them.

This is a great introduction to anyone unfamiliar with River, whose debut EP, Highway Songs No.2, is dropping October 7.
