Why do we like this?

The last few months have been a pretty steep ascension for Brisbane producer cln. The youngster has climbed the Hypem charts a number of times. His breakout single "Better Than" hit the top spot and amassed well over 100K streams in the process.

Having also released a number of enjoyable remixes (including his recent version of Crooked Colours' "Keep Your Mouth For Lying"), we've now been treated to some more of cln's original work. His debut EP Sideways includes three new tracks (and a remix), and the introspective "What You Said" is the standout.

His signature heavy-hitting, hip-hop influenced formula has served him so well to date, while pulling off a somewhat sorrowful vibe at the same time.
