Why do we like this?
I met this track a little while ago and while it's not new, every time I send it on to someone I know, their remarks are always positive. This means it's time for me to share it with the users of Indie Shuffle, i.e. millennials who are stuck in the time warp known as 'good taste.'
Conan Gray's "Heather" is a little sadder than what we normally tend to feature, but it's almost undeniably beautiful. The song is about unrequited love — the often searingly-painful source of inspiration for artists, especially those who work with words, the ever-tortured writer.
