Why do we like this?
If you haven't heard of Conics yet, then hold the phone.
I am going to go out on a limb and say that Conics might be my favorite Australian synth pop outfit since Cut Copy. To be fair, Australia is the mecca and breeding ground for some of the best synth/indie pop bands out today, so my opinion might change tomorrow. But today, it's Conics.
"Faces" is a perfect follow up to their first single, "This Moment," and is equally vibrant and full of energy. I am really looking forward to seeing these guys play when they come to the states.
With that, there is not much more I can say to boast about how good this Aussie five-piece is and how their future could be. And because they love you so much, "Faces" is available for free download here. Follow Conics on Facebook for addition release dates and info.
