Conner Youngblood is unstoppable. His music is a dose of fresh air, no matter what the occasion.His latest work "Gold" is the second single to be released from his upcoming album Sketches Pt. 2. Like the previous single "Proportions," "Gold" finds Conner exploring a different realm of music than we've seen from him before, this time testing out the static-y chasms of fuzzy rock.A welcome change in pace (simply because it's a good tune), "Gold" won't make you dance. It won't make you sleep either -- it's sort of an in-between track that I find to be a perfect backdrop for these wonderful summer days.
