Perth trio Cooked Colours has been one of the more intriguing acts to emerge over the past year, culminating in the recent release of their latest EP, In Your Bones. Sitting somewhere in between the indie pop and electro genres, their originality has been well-noted, with supports for heavy hitters Rufus (twice) as well as slots at Laneway and Groovin the Moo festivals earlier this year.
With their own EP tour having just kicked off, their most recent single "Keep Your Mouth For Lying" has been remixed by Brisbane-based producer cln. He was earmarked as one to watch when his single "Better Than" hit #1 on Hype Machine, and the youngster has outdone himself again on this track. An uncomplicated remix, the focus has been placed squarely on the haunting vocals of Phil Slabber, while he's created a throbbing, hypnotic beat that sits perfectly with the vibe of the track.
