It was a little cold and just a bit rainy, but that did not stop the masses from coming out to Ruby Skye last night to celebrate Life in Motion 3. It started out slowly, as good dance parties are prone to do. San Francisco's resident house DJ, Ross FM, and Long Beach's Box Cutters kicked things off in fine style, but it was not until Fabian Campos took the stage that the dance floor seemed to take notice.
Campos' upbeat house/techno set was the perfect introduction for the headlining act, Myndset. The L.A.-based DJ/producer brought the house down with over an hour of bass-heavy madness. From the opening synths of "To The Stars" to the first drop to the twelfth drop and then some, Myndset's progressive EDM is a sure-fire ingredient for any good dance party recipe. Life in Motion 3 made that quite obvious.
