When a remix of a classic track like this pops in my inbox, two thoughts come to mind. This is either going to blow or it's either going to be fucking dope. Well, that seems to really be the case when I get any record. However, when it's a remix of something so iconic like a Daft Punk tune, my expectations of it are set to another level.
The remix by elusive artist k?D met my typically unrealistic expectations, blew them out of the water, and did it again when I replayed the remix.
This tune crosses over so many sub-genres of electronic music, it's kind of confusing, but also kind of really cool. Like when was the last time you heard a tune mix future bass, glitch hop, dubstep, trap, funk, and — oh, what's that? You never have?
