Why do we like this?

I was so close to posting this as Song of the Day. I really, really like Darwin Deez, both recorded and live. So, the fact that he's coming out with a new album is amazing.

Why was I reluctant, you ask? Well the beginning of this track might not have mass appeal. It's a bit loud and strong, and if you don't yet have a grasp of how great Darwin is, you could be turned off.

The second half, on the other hand, is friggin' fantastic. It's like there's a solid 3 minutes of bridge along the course of this song, and I can't get it out of my head. And that's why I have it on repeat.

Songs For Imaginative People will be released on February 12th via Lucky Number.

(Streaming via SoundOwl).
