Since I left Minneapolis two years ago it's never stopped giving me good reasons to come back. DENNY is a great example of how dynamic the music scene is in the Twin Cities. I'd never heard of this band until last year and they're already making big waves.
And for good reason, these three make easy work of making grooves, and I'm especially digging this latest combination of indie pop, disco, and dance in "Love Somebody With A Face Like You." It's simply made for all out dancing, no understated moves, but limps swinging, feet hopping, and shoulders shimmying.
I hope so hard I get the chance to seem them live at some point, because that is going to be one heck of a dance party. In the meantime, blast it in your own living room for full effect.
