Why do we like this?

James Blake has had one hell of a year, and although I'm not a huge fan, I'm slowly coming around to his ways. Today, the UK musician has dropped a remix of Destiny's Child's "Bills, Bills, Bills," previously only available on vinyl, and it rocks.

Blake has taken the popular club hit and turned it into a glitchy, synth-heavy production. Added bleeps and computer sounds combine with the manipulated vocals, resulting in a very effective remix with the Blake touch.

A few more like this and I might finally be on board.
