Why do we like this?
There aren't too many up-and-coming dream pop acts with vocals like DEWEY. The three-piece outfit is from the Boston area, and just released their first EP. "Horoscopes.com" is the opening track off Culdesac, and a shocker to say the least.
Driven by a warm bass line that seems to completely envelopeus, it's not long before we hearbittersweet, acrobatic harmonies. With rapid fire high-hats and sudden thrusts of longing, the chorus hits us over the head.
The textures are soft, palpable, and well-produced. Listen to the rest of DEWEY's EP here.
