Why do we like this?

If you were to ask me, I'd have to say that surf rock is one of the hardest genres to mess up. And shoegaze is probably a close runner-up.

So, given that DIIV has combined both genres on this new track "Bent (Roi's Song)," one can only expect that it comes across sounding pretty solid to the ear.
