Why do we like this?
Drake's been on a roll this year, and his Destiny Child's hook-stealing "Girls Love Beyonce" is just another example of why the Toronto native is at the top of his game.
Today, UK favorite SBTRKT has given us his take on the track, chopping and changing "Girls Love Beyonce" so that it's barely recognizable from the original. The vocals are almost completely gone, with Drake given the boot for a scattering of James Fauntleroy's audible harmonies.
SBTRKT has really done a number on this one, with the gentle opening piano keys transforming into an uplifting garage production that fits well with SBTRKT's previous material. A very interesting take on the original, but I'd prefer more Drake.
