Why do we like this?

Here at Indie Shuffle, we are long time fans of Emma Louise -- and for a very, very good reason.

"Underflow" is the stunning, heartbreaking new track from the Melbourne artist. Produced by Pascal Gabriel (Goldfrapp, Ladyhawke), it was premiered on Beats 1 radio, and is the first taste of her new album, due out in early 2016.

The instrumental layers see delicate, muffled piano trickles meeting an ambient, emotive soundscape. There's a real delicacy, a real vulnerability in Louise's breathy voice - I feel immediately, wholly enveloped by her melody and her lyrics. I'm hooked.

"Underflow" is a gorgeous, intimate and reflective. The artist herself had this to say about song's conception:

I wrote Underflow about that feeling that swells up inside of you when you know that things in your life are about to change. It's like an undercurrent that at first you ignore, and it builds and builds until you know you need to make a decision, albeit hard and scary at the time. Then the change comes, and everything is new and different.
