Why do we like this?

After a two year hiatus, experimental French electronic pop act Erotic Market are back with the first single from their upcoming album, Queendoms.

The band has undergone a metamorphosis, with the duo now a solo act consisting of vocalist and songwriter Rosemary Martins. Enlisting the help of bassist DJ Flore, producer Bonetrips and drummer Nicolas Taite, Erotic Market are back better than ever and ready to unleash their brand of genre-bending tunes upon the world.

"Tell You: L.I.B.I.D.O." is an energetic pop number featuring Martins' alternating between slick raps and her engaging singing voice. The production is an alluring mix of electronica, R&B and hip-hop beats, with touches of FKA Twigs and M.I.A. filtered throughout. The tempo change at the three minute mark is unexpected but works, with "Tell You: L.I.B.I.D.O." a welcome return from Erotic Market. 

Queendoms is set for release February 23rd.
