In keeping with the theme of dark, brooding ladies, we have a debut single from brand new artist ESH to further darken the mood - in an entirely good way.
"Trigger" highlights ESH's celestial vocals, and paired with sparse electronic-tinged instrumental arrangements and soaring strings, the track becomes an ambient, delicately balanced time-bomb, all the while maintaining tension in the constantly ticking beat as the song resolves into its overarching existential message.
Having spent the last 12 months travelling across Europe and beyond, ESH is a project born from a meticulous collecting of the sights and sounds of various different cities and cultures, with "Trigger" being the the first track to be revealed from her debut EP.
